Winkler Award

The Thomas F. Winkler Award was first awarded to Dr. Winkler at the 2007 American College of Dentists New England Section annual meeting at the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, Massachusetts. The reason for the creation of the award was to recognize him for all that he had done over the years to promote the mission of the American College of Dentists through leadership, education, and ethics. Dr. Winkler, a mentor and role model, served in leadership for the New England Section of the American College of Dentists and as the 2011 President of the American College of Dentists.

Each year the New England Section of the American College of Dentists considers potential nominations and selects the individual that best represents the high standards set by Dr. Thomas F. Winkler, both in professional and private life.
